Low-cost and state-of-the-art ebusiness infrastructures (or facilities) are a necessity for the fast-emerging digital economy. We invest in business models with an "open" component. Open in the sense of open standard, open source, or open content. |

As online catalogues may easily contain 100Ks of different products, which are frequently updated, there is a need for so called "rich content". I.e., pictures, descriptions, product features, marketing folders, video, specs, ratings, etc. to help a potential buyer to understand a product or service. |

We have setup and sold the successful NL top 100 etailer TakeitNow, which was founded in 1998. We shifted our investment focus away from etail towards facilitating etailers with open business infrastructures. In the portfolio we hold still a participation in one more successful NL Top 100 etailer: Futurumshop. |

iMerge buys Vivendo for quick relaunch |

Amsterdam/De Meern, February 11 2010: iMerge - investor in ICEshop, Batavi, Futurumshop and ICEcat - buys the leading Dutch Magento Commerce provider Vivendo. "A quick relaunch was essential for recovering customer satisfaction and preventing lasting brand damage", according to iMerge ceo Martijn Hoogeveen.

Amsterdam, 24 november 2008: Netvalue BV en Morecommerce BV, de personal holdings van respectievelijk Martijn Hoogeveen en Bert van Gerwen, hebben hun belang in ecommerce incubator iMerge BV, uitgebreid van 66% naar 100%. Beide oprichters hadden na de verkoop van TakeitNow BV aan AcesDirect in april dit jaar voldoende cash binnen iMerge om tot deze volledige uitkoop van overige aandeelhouders over te gaan.

Dutch court rules that Google has to provide Gmail user details of spy-box.
Amsterdam, October 20 2008: The appropriate Dutch court in Amsterdam sustained the claim of iMerge.nl against Google Inc. that the user details of spy-box alfaiscool2002@gmail.com should be disclosed to iMerge. The Gmail account was used for business espionage and privacy violations. The ruling got the headlines of the main Dutch newspapers, NRC en Telegraaf.nl.
